Hoot History
The Hoot first opened its doors on November 10, 1967 in a tiny store on Main Street in Willimantic, Connecticut. Kathy and Robin felt their hometown would really appreciate a boutique style gift store with a diverse selection of trendy merchandise – their venture was a success! Over the 50+ years, and 7 location changes, The Hoot has grown with each move – expanding upon the eclectic mix of creative merchandise for the Willimantic/Mansfield community!
